MSB Marketing Services 

MSB started doing business as a short term insurance brokerage in 1990 trading as Master Sure Brokers in a town called Queenstown. (Eastern Cape S.A.) With only a small staff content the business was awarded various prestigious awards from leading Insurance Companies within the first 18 months of business.

The next number of years showed constant growth in the company and during 1998 the directors decided to centralize it's operations by opening an administration office and call centre in Port Elizabeth.

In early 2003 MSB started acquiring several smaler brokerages to strengthen its client base. This was followed during April of the same year by the amalgamation with another brokerage namely Agricultural and Business Insurance Brokers.

The increase in volume positioned the company to get contracted by most of the major insurance companies and underwriting managers in South Africa. The large amount of anual premium also enabled MSB to negotiate favourable rates for its existing and future clients. MSB now had a very solid foundation and was growing above expectation.

During the early part of 2004 the directors of the company concentrated on enhancing its call centre and information technology systems to enable it to provide a service to it's ever growing client base that is above the norm.

In March 2006 MSB aquired yet another brokerage called STI Brokers. This move resulted in MSB being a major player in the area and possibly one of the largest truly independent short term insurance brokerages in the Eastern Cape.

During the first part of 2008 MSB obtained certain underwriting facilities from a couple of Insurers and management then decided to start developing it's own products coupled to a customized quotation system. The first of these products namely the Lansure Agrcultural policy was launched in July 2008 and was immediately well received by clients as well as the insurance company underwriting this product namely Mutual & Federal.

MSB has subsequently developed its own personal and commercial products coupled with various value added products in order to accommodate the needs of all clients.

It is the vision of the current MSB management to constantly try and enhance it's service levels as well as product range in order to stay a major roll player in the short term insurance industry in the Eastern Cape.
